Clinical Social Work/Therapist, MS, LCSW, LCAC
I believe people seek out counseling for one of two reasons. First, they find themselves in a crisis situation with their life out of balance. This may be due to the discomfort of anxiety, an out of control addiction, the stress of an unsatisfying relationship, or a child who is struggling. Or, their life is in balance but they are at a decision point or feel a need for self-improvement including career concerns, a desire to improve a relationship or a need to improve grades. Both are equally valid reasons to seek the assistance of a caring professional.
I specialize in the areas of anxiety, depression, addictions, anger management, marital therapy, divorce recovery, child development and achievement and effective parenting. Using a holistic approach integrating the mental, physical and spiritual aspects into treatment, my goal is to assist clients in reducing stress and living a happy, peaceful life.
I am also trained through Star Behavioral Health Providers to work with the unique needs of the military including active duty, veterans, and their families. As the mother of a USMC officer I have a special interest in the emotional well-being of the men and women serving our country.
